Third Shift Dad: Stand watch.

Third Shift Dad ("we", "us") is a brand of Hive Asset Group, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect when you browse, subscribe or order, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what we need to make and ship your order, we don't sell it, and we don't want your kids' data for anything but the item you ordered.

What we collect

Order details. Name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and what you ordered. You enter these on Stripe's checkout page.
Personalization text. For personalized items, the names, birth years and years you type. A parent or guardian enters these, never a child. We use them only to make your order and to answer questions about it.
Email signup. Your email address, if you join the Watch (our email list).
Site usage. Pages viewed, the page that sent you, campaign tags in a link, and a random visitor id stored in your browser. This contains no name or email.
Your cart. Saved in your browser's local storage on your device, so it survives a reload. It isn't sent to us until you check out.

We don't see or store your full card number. Stripe handles payment.

How we use it

To make, ship and support your order.
To send order and shipping messages.
To send the weekly letter and your discount code if you joined the Watch. Unsubscribe in any email.
To understand which pages and posts people find useful, and improve the site.
To prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Who helps us

We share the minimum each of these needs to do its job:

Stripe for payments and receipts.
Printful and other production partners, who receive your shipping address, phone number and personalization so they can make and ship your item.
Brevo for email, including order notices and the Watch letter.
Netlify for hosting and storage of order records.
A marketing analytics service we operate, which receives the anonymous usage data described above.

We don't sell your personal information and we don't share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

We don't set advertising cookies. We use your browser's local storage for your cart and an anonymous visitor id. You can clear them in your browser settings. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout page.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for support, taxes and accounting. Email signups stay until you unsubscribe. Usage data is kept in anonymous form.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop emailing you, by writing us through our contact page. We reply within 2 business days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.

Children

This site is for parents and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The names and years on products come from the parent placing the order.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
